1 package little smoked sausages
1 package refrigerated Crescent Dough (or Crescent Rolls)
½ cup Dijon or other “hearty” mustard
2 – 3 tablespoons honey, or to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Unroll dough and square up the edges. If using crescent roll dough, create 4 rectangles and press perforations to seal.
Cut dough into narrow strips (cutting them from the shorter length).
Leaving the end of the sausage open, wrap the dough around the sausages, making little “mummies”. The dough will resemble bandages. Place on baking sheet.
Bake 14 – 17 minutes until dough is golden brown. Serve hot or cold with dipping sauce.
Mix mustard and honey together.
