1 package refrigerated bread stick dough
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
Canola or Vegetable oil
In heavy pot, pour enough 2 inches of oil. Heat to 350 degrees over medium heat*.
Cut each bread stick into 1 inch pieces. Deep fry in batches until golden, flipping half way thru cooking time to evenly cook both sides.
Immediately remove from oil and while still hot, either toss the puffs with the Parmesan cheese, or sprinkle over the tops. The cheese will start to melt and stick to the puffs.
*to test to see if oil is hot, cut off a small piece of dough and drop it in the oil, it should immediately start to bubble.
