Bleu Cheese Walnut Spread


8 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces bleu cheese, crumbled
1 small can chopped black olives (4 ¼ ounces)
1/3 cup finely chopped toasted walnuts of pecans
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste

Using a hand mixer, or a stand mixer (with paddle attachment), beat the cream cheese until fluffy.

Add bleu cheese, black olives and walnuts and mix until well blended.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.  Remove 30 minutes prior to serving to soften.  Stir before serving.

Serve with crackers or toasted baguettes.
