Coffeecake French Toast


Day Old Coffee Cake, cut into ¾” to 1” slices (4 – 6 slices)
¾ cup milk
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix together milk eggs, sugar and vanilla until well blended.

Dip coffee cake slices into egg mixture, coating each side.

On griddle (or in a large frying pan) over medium heat, melt 1 teaspoon of butter, or spray with non-stick cooking spray.  Place slices on griddle and cook until bottom is golden brown, flip and cook until other side is golden brown.
