Pineapple Ginger Smoothie


 1 1/2 cups diced pineapple (fresh or canned in juice, NOT syrup)

1 banana, peeled and sliced

1/2 cup fat free vanilla Greek yogurt

1/2 cup ice (5 – 6 ice cubes)

1/2 cup pineapple juice (from canned fruit or juice (NO added sugar)

2 – 3 teaspoons grated fresh ginger (to taste or optional)

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Place all ingredients into blender.

 

Blend on high for 60 seconds.
