Grilled Romaine


 3 – 4 Romaine Hearts, halved vertically

Olive oil or Canola oil

Salt to taste

Ground Black Pepper to taste

 

Brush Romaine Hearts with oil (both sides) and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

 

Place the Romaine Hearts cut side down on the grill.

 

Grill for 1 – 2 minutes, then flip over and grill for another 1 – 2 minutes or until it has reached the desired texture.  Remove the Romaine and place on individual plates or on a platter. 

 

Dress with your favorite Salad Dressing and sprinkle with crumbled bleu cheese, if desired.
