Deep Fried Hotdogs

1 package flour tortillas, burrito size
1 package hotdogs
8 scallions, sliced on the diagonal, white and green parts
Shredded Cheddar Cheese (or your choice of flavors)
Enough oil for a 2 inch depth in a heavy duty pot (or use a deep fryer)
1 can of “no bean” pre-made chili (optional), heated
Olives (optional)
Jalapenos (optional)
Sauerkraut (optional)
Onions (optional)
Heat the oil to 375 degrees. Heat the tortillas according to directions on the package.
Slightly heat the hotdogs either in a pan of water on the stove, or in the microwave. You just want to take the chill off, because they will cook quickly in the oil.
Place a hotdog on a tortilla, cover with additional ingredients….your choice, just remember you will have to be able to wrap these up “burrito style” so they don’t leak when you deep fry them.
Deep fry each hotdog until golden on each side (you may need to flip  them if using a pot on the stove), about 45 – 90 seconds.
