You can leave the Vodka out of this, and you have a Virgin Mary.
32 ounces tomato juice
1 rib celery, chopped
½ medium sweet onion, chopped
¾ cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon horseradish
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt or to taste
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Several dashes of Tabasco sauce or to taste
In blender, pour 8 – 10 ounces tomato juice, add celery, onion lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce. Blend until celery and onion are minced very fine.
Pour into large pitcher, add remaining tomato juice and stir.
Pour celery salt onto a plate. Wet the edge of a large tumbler (glass) and twirl edge in celery salt. Fill glass with ice. Pour 2 ounces (or to taste) Vodka into glass, fill with tomato juice mixture, leaving enough room to add other seasonings. Garnish.
